Caught up in the excitement, I bought a ticket to Las Vegas before I realized that I’d be missing my son’s second birthday on March 8. I sat uncomfortably on the fence about whether or not to go for almost two months, but my wife and I both new how important it was for me to connect face-to-face with many of the contacts that I had made over the past few years. This was my first trip to the WPPI convention, and it was nothing short of a life-changing experience. I made so many close friends in the blurred whirlwind that was my trip. Below, you’ll find some of the friends, colleagues and mentors that I had the pleasure and honor of getting to know. These are my people, and I love them dearly.
I am so grateful for my expecting wife, Jenny, for mustering the courage to send me away on a four-day trip while struggling with morning (all-day) sickness; and for Justin, who seems to have grown into a little man while I was away. I love, I love, I love you.
