We took a trip up to Marysville a few months ago to celebrate something very special with our dear friends David and Kristina. Their four-year-old angel of a daughter, Kaylah, had just beaten cancer. They planned to have a bonfire to burn and let go of the radiation mask and backpack that Kaylah had to use for the past year while in treatment. It was an extraordinary moment, and we were so blessed to be there.
I simply adore these two. Davina + Daniel are fellow wedding photographers who hail from Montreal. They’re in the final stretch of their two-month road trip across America, and are finally on their way home.
We met about halfway between San Fransisco and Seattle in a little coastal town inaccurately named Crescent City. We didn’t have long together, but we swapped mini-portrait sessions of each others’ families. Their next road trip better include the Pacific Northwest :)
